The Potting Shed.......Carole Berg......

When you step into The Potting Shed--the creation of designer, and long-time Lakewood dealer, Carole Berg--it's like visiting an English village garden shop full of fresh flowers and plants, but the magic is that there are no live plants to water!

Carole specializes in creating the English garden look--without the work--by using upscale and quality florals, while incorporating wonderful primitives and garden antiques, to achieve a truly realistic look. Her favorite hobby is creating this look for clients in their home, or on site for special occasions.

With her design degree, Carole has worked in China designing inventory for the floral trade, and currently designs for seven different showrooms at AmericasMart in Atlanta.

When you visit Carole (just inside the main entrance on the left) be sure to ask for one of her discount cards, and check out her 1/2 price sale tags scattered throughout the shop.

Sue Beamon......

We love our sunny Sue!

Aside from carrying wonderful primitives, Sue is one of the original "re-purposers" of discarded treasure--a true lover of anything "rusty and dusty"--who gives new life to vintage bits and pieces and turns them into one of a kind objects for your home or garden.

Sue has been with the Lakewood show for 15 years, and has some interesting stories. She has sold merchandise to movie set designers for major movies like Leatherheads, We Are Marshall, and many more, and she has met lots of interesting people that have come through the shows over the years.

You can always find something unique in Sue's booths, ......ranging from pottery-- to trunks and primitive furniture-- to folk art and lots more.

Be sure to stop by and say "hello" to Sue in Hall D 218/229.

Kathy and Galo.........

"Customer Service!!"
is Kathy and Galo's reply when asked what would define their business.

Combined, they have 45 years of experience in jewelry and watch repair and design, and to them, the most important aspect is doing whatever it takes to make sure every customer is totally satisfied.

They provide services that most jewelers do not, like pearl knotting and re-stringing, and antique jewelry restoration, as well as watch and band repair, diamond setting, stone replacement and setting, and much more......with all work completely guaranteed.

An example of just one of the services Kathy and Galo provide would be when someone inherits family jewelry, and would like to have a piece repurposed to fit better or be more current in design, they can transform the heirlooms into still-treasured, yet more wearable pieces.

In addition to the expert services they provide, Kathy and Galo showcase a beautiful variety of quality jewelry and watches for every taste. (Check out that 1800's Turkish bracelet pictured above!)

Be sure to visit them in Hall A-22, just past the food court.
